An amethyst and diamond brooch. The rectangular-shape amethyst, within an old-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts. Length 3.8gms. Weight 14.5gms.
>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. amethyst deep purple, well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.
