BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An amethyst and diamond brooch. The oval-shape amethyst collet, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 2.20cts, J-K colour, P2-P3 clarity. Length 3.5cms. Weight 16.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Amethyst medium purple, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
