An amethyst and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the vari-cut foil-back diamond scrolling panel, with suspended cushion-shape amethyst highlights, to the similarly-set amethyst and diamond spray surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 1.70cts. Length 5cms. Weight 16.1gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches to setting in keeping with general wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and closed back setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Most of the amethysts are in closed back settings.
