BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An amethyst and cultured pearl necklace and a pair of amethyst ear studs. The necklace designed as a series of three amethyst bead and cultured pearl strands, to the 9ct gold amethyst and cultured pearl cluster clasp, together with a pair of 9ct gold circular-shape amethyst ear studs. Clasp with hallmarks for London, 1963. Earrings with hallmarks for London, 1977. Length of necklace 46cms. Weight of earrings 2.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches and small areas of discolouration to the clasp in keeping with general age and wear. The amethysts are in good condition, with light surface scratches. The cultured pearls have typical surface blemishes to include pits, light nacre damage. Earrings with post fitting for pierced ears.
