BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold tourmaline and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape tourmaline, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Import marks for London, 1988. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Tourmaline medium very slightly brownish yellowish-green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size N 1/2.
