BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold tanzanite and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape tanzanite, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the trifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80cts. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1986. Ring size O. Weight 6.9gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Tanzanite medium blue to violet blue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
