An 18ct gold sapphire diamond cluster ring. The pear-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct. Import marks for Sheffield, 1988. Weight 3.5gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The sapphire is a medium to dark blue hue, moderately saturated saturated, with light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Ring size P.
