BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, to the brilliant-curt diamond sides and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct, J-K colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1981. Ring size K. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. One claw has broken off. The diamonds vary in cut, one is in old-cut and the other is a circular-cut diamond. Scattered light and dark inclusions to the circular-cut diamond visible with the unaided eyeSapphire medium blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stone in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
