BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire. between brilliant-cut diamond sides, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct, stamped to band. Hallmarks for London, 1998. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Sapphire light medium blue, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions fairly easily seen under magnification, windowing to the centre of the stone. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Light and dark inclusions can be seen fairly easily under magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions, some nicks can be seen to facet edges with some small scratches to the surface. Ring size H.
