BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond half-circle eternity ring. The alternating square-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond line, to the scrolling sides and tapered band. Maker's marks for Cropp & Farr. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1987. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Band slightly out of shape. Sapphires dark blue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some straight colour zoning can be seen under magnification. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions, with some moderate abrasion and nick to the sapphires.
