BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. Import marks for London, 1998. Ring size K. Weight 5.1gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched, most have significant fractures throughout, some are surface reaching. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire medium blue hue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
