An 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The square-shape ruby line, within a channel setting, to the pave-set single-cut diamond surround and sides. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 4.1gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Rubies slightly loose in the settings. Rubies well matched. Rubies medium pinkish-red, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Rubies in mostly good condition with some minor abrasion and minor nibbles to some girdle and facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.10ct. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds fairly bright and lively. Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification. Diamonds in good to fair condition with minor abrasions. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Ring size M.
