An 18ct gold ruby and diamond dress ring. The rectangular-shape ruby line, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered baguette-cut diamond highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 2.40cts. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 14.2gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium purplish-red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size . In addition to the hallmarks there are Italian marks to the inside of band.
