An 18ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. Designed as a series of three tapered hoops, with circular-shape ruby and brilliant-cut diamond cluster terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Import marks for London, 1984. Length 4.3cms. Weight 9gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. One of the outer tapered hoops is slightly bent. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions. The back pin is partially flat.
