An 18ct gold glass-filled ruby and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape glass-filled ruby, within a brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround, to the trifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 6.4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of a resize. The ruby is glass-filled, with profuse surface reaching inclusions. The glass-filled ruby is a medium red hue, well saturated, with light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Ring size M.
