BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The pear-shape old-cut diamond, weighing 1.76cts, to the tapered band. Estimated tinted colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, date indistinct. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The bottom of the band has worn slightly thin. Band shows evidence of a resize. The diamond is drawing a yellow hue, with two small dark inclusions and a chip to the girdle. Ring size Q.
