An 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within a square-shape single-cut diamond surround, to the openwork vari-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.90ct, J-K colour, P2-P3 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 4.2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Several of the outer diamonds appear to have been replaced as they are a mix of rose, old, single and brilliant-cut diamonds. Some do not fit the settings very well and may need to be secured. Scattered light and dark inclusions visible to the principal diamond with the unaided eye, some inclusions are surface reaching and may effect the durability of the diamond. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Estimated total outer old and circular-cut diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Also stamped 18ct plat. Ring size M. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
