BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold diamond and ruby ring. Of hexagonal outline, the brilliant-cut diamond, within an alternating series of calibre-cut ruby and single-cut diamond surrounds, to the similarly-set tapered shoulders. Principal diamond estimated weight 1ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Ring size N. Weight 8.1gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The rubies have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. The principal diamond has a noticeable central surface reaching dark inclusion. Surrounding diamond estimated total weight 0.65ct. The diamonds are bright.
