An 18ct gold diamond and ruby owl bar brooch. The pave-set brilliant-cut diamond owl, with circular-shape ruby eyes, perched upon a textured branch bar. Sponsor's mark for Cropp & Farr. Hallmarks for London, 1990. Length 5.4cms. Weight 6.2gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The rubies are well matched and in good condition, typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Hallmark and sponsors mark visible to the inside back of the owl. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
