An 18ct gold diamond and ruby dress ring. Of abstract design, the textured foliate panel, with brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby highlights, to the rope twist bifurcated band. Hallmarks for London, 1980. Weight 18.3gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Length of top panel 2.7cms. Band shows evidence of a resize. One stone deficient. The rubies have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.10cts. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Ring size N.
