An 18ct gold diamond and enamel star ring. The late 19th century gold old and rose-cut diamond blue enamel star, to the later added plain band. Principal old-cut diamond estimate weight 0.20ct. Ring size S. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Discolouration visible to the back of the dome, band added at a later date. Small dark inclusions to the central diamond visible with magnification. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some small chips to the diamonds visible with the unaided eye.
