BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An 18ct gold diamond and emerald crossover ring. The pear-shape emerald and diamond asymmetric terminals, to the brilliant-cut diamond sides and tapered band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.30ct, J-K colour, VS clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1989. Weight 3.5gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of brilliant-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Emerald is a medium slightly bluish green hue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size L 1/2.
