A Victorian silver sugar dish, the conical form with vertical pierced decoration embellished with engraved swags and with blue glass liner. Hallmarked Walter & John Barnard, London 1883. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), gross silver weight 4.1 ozt (128 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Hallmarks somewhat worn but legible. Glass in good overall order.
