A Victorian silver inkstand, the shell base with central cut glass inkwell. Hallmarked Henry Holland (of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater), London 1876, numbered 4686. Width of base measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), gross weighable silver 8.8 ozt (276 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark somewhat distorted. - Shipping Info
