A tanzanite and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape tanzanite collet, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the baguette-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Approximate tanzanite dimensions 8.6 by 6.9 by 4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Scattered light and dark inclusions, some visible with the unaided eye. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Tanzanite medium purplish blue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stone in fair condition with abrasion visible more significant to some facet edges. Ring size O.
