BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A synthetic ruby and diamond locket. The heart-shape synthetic ruby and rose-cut diamond cluster, with vacant glazed panel reverse, suspended from a rose-cut diamond foliate surmount and belcher-link chain. Length of pendant 3cms. Length of chain 38cms. Total weight 10.4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. Synthetic ruby in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the facet edges. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification. Diamonds in good to fair condition with minor abrasions. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Some minor discoloration to inner glazed panel surround. Stamped 750 to chain.
