BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A synthetic ruby and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape synthetic ruby, within a brilliant-cut, marquise and rectangular-shape diamond surround, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Weight 4.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Synthetic ruby bright medium red, well saturated, with good fair clarity and typical inclusions, with gas bubbles and curved colour growth marks visible under magnification. Diamonds well matched for colour and clarity. Diamonds bright. Light coloured inclusions can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Ring size N.
