A split pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the split pearl heart duo, with textured bow surmount and split pearl highlight. Length 2.5cms. Weight 4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small areas of discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. The split pearls are well matched with minor blemishes and nacre damage. The heart mount is possibly late 19th century, with a later added surmount and split pearl replacements. Replacement base metal pin.
