BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A set of six late 19th century tortoiseshell pique buttons. Each designed as a tortoiseshell dome, with inlaid fly detail. Diameter of buttons 1.2cms. With case.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Small chips to the edging of some, scratches and surface reaching fractures visible to the tortoiseshell. The end of the box is broken, scuffs scratches and areas of discolouration to the box. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
