A set of peridot and spinel jewellery. The pendant designed as a graduated series of three cushion-shape peridot, with vari-shape red spinel spacers, fringe and surmount, suspended from an integral belcher-link chain, with matching ear pendants. French assay marks. Length of pendant 5.7cms. Length of ear pendants 6cms. Length of chain 41cms. Weight 21.5gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. One split to a fringe section of an ear pendant. Peridot are a well matched deep medium yellowish green hue. The spinel are a well matched pinkish red hue, well saturated. Food to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with moderate to significant abrasion and minor nibbles. One smaller spinel with cavity/small chip. Ear pendants with hook fittings for pierced ears, slightly bent.
