A set of four George II cast silver candlesticks, the octagonal fluted bases alternating with floral engraving rising to the baluster columns with scalework to the shoulder knop and similar fluted detachable nozzles. Hallmarked Edward Feline, London probably 1741. Height measuring 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm), gross weight 86 ozt (2692 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. Decoration worn. Hallmarks not clear to all candlesticks, many distorted with solder floods. Two nozzles numbered 1 and 2, remaining two unmarked.
