A selection of three brooches. To include an early 20th century 9ct gold bar brooch suspending a later addition citrine and mother-of-pearl drop, a mid 20th century 9ct gold oval garnet cabochon bar brooch, with a later engraved bar brooch. Two with hallmarks for London 1932 and Birmingham 1953. Lengths 4.6 to 3.8cms. Total weight 9.2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Soft solder to the top of the early 20th century brooch drop. Garnet dark slightly purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Citrine dark orange, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Mother-of-pearl slightly silvery-white with green and pink overtones and good lustre, and typical surface blemishes.
