BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of Thai jewellery. To include a brooch with a relief design depicting the mermaid Suvannamaccha from the poem Ramayana, together with a niello bracelet, each link of rectangular shape with scallop edges depicting a dancing figure. (8) Marks indicating silver. Lengths 7 to 40cms.
This lot is in good to fair condition, with light scratches to the metal in keeping with age and wear. Most stamped 'Made in Siam'. The fancy link bracelet has two small sections of beadwork deficient from the outer edge.
