BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of six 9ct gold front and back lockets and two pendants. To include late 19th century and later examples of heart, oval and shield-shape front and back lockets, together with an oval-shape foil-back garnet and a photo pendant. Lengths 2.7 to 1.9cms. Total weight of lockets 29.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Garnet dark purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion, a scratch to the table and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
