A selection of mainly early to mid 20th century paste jewellery. To include a bar brooch with central initial set with single-cut diamonds within a square white enamel frame and a crescent shaped brooch depicting four graduated colourless paste birds in flight. (9) Three with marks indicating silver. Lengths 3.8 to 7.2cms. Weight 40.8gms.
Overall fair to good condition, with light to moderate surface scratches and tarnishing from general wear. The initial panel on the bar brooch looks to be 9ct gold and has been taken form another piece of jewellery and added to the bar brooch at a later date. The pastes are yellowing to many of the pieces. There is a green paste missing to one of the brooches, one colourless paste missing to another and four to the bird brooch, one tip of this brooch has broken off and the pin is missing.
