- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of mainly butterfly wing jewellery. To include a brooch in the shape of a dragonfly, each wing painted with a mountainous scene, with butterfly wing inlaid to the background, together with two pairs of butterfly wing cufflinks, one pair of rectangular outline, the other of marquise outline. Some with marks indicating silver. Lengths 1.5 to 40cms. Weight 69.4gms.
This lot is in good to fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The pendant depicting the kingfisher, has much of the butterfly wing disintegrated and no longer visible, the chain for the pendant has some tarnish. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition. - Shipping Info
