- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of lava cameo jewellery. To include two bracelets each comprising oval panels depicting to one seven ladies on profile and to the other eight men in portrait, together with a brooch depicting two putti embracing. Lengths 1.4 to 17.5cms. Weight 75.8gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The push-piece clasps to both bracelets do not hold properly. The brooch has the pin hook deficient. There is a small chip to the lava part of the brooch to the area on which the putti are standing. There is a separate smaller link also present. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition. - Shipping Info
