A selection of late 19th to early 20th century jewellery. To include a Charles Horner brooch, the open oval-shape curving round to the thistle shape purple paste, together with another silver brooch designed as a tree. (4) Hallmark for Birmingham, 1876 and Chester, 1912. Lengths 2.5 to 9cms. Weight 39.8gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The tree brooch has signs of repair to the front and reverse and brown discolouration to the same area. The penknife has signs of dirt to the mother-of-pearl.
