A selection of late 19th century foil-back garnet jewellery and components. To include a foil-back garnet floral brooch, a pair of foil-back garnet ear pendants, together with multiple similarly-set jewellery components. Lengths 8.8 to 2.1cms. Weight 4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Gemstones have a red appearance. Not every foil-back gemstone has been tested. Most have rutile inclusions, some may be paste replacements. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
