A selection of late 19th and early 20th century jewellery. To include a late Victorian 9ct gold memorial brooch designed with flowers and birds, an early 20th century cultured pearl necklace, together with two early 20th century paste bar brooches, one in gold. Lengths 4.3 and 55.5cms. Weight of two brooches 6.5gms.
Overall good to fair condition, with light surface scratches and discolouration throughout from general wear. The brooch has a replacement pin, there are two chips to the glass panel reverse and moderate tarnishing. The 109 graduated cultured pearls show natural surface blemishes and have a creamy lustre. They are fairly well matched in colour, they vary in consistency of shape. The marks to the reverse of the 9ct gold clasp are quite worn. The paste facet edges show some rounding from general wear. Light abrasion to surface of paste on paste brooches. Imitation pearls well matched. Tarnish to both paste brooches.
