BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of gem-set stickpins. To include a late 19th century carnelian sphere trefoil stickpin, a late 19th century circular turquoise cabochon sphere stickpin, a late 19th century foil-back oval-shape garnet stickpin, together with four further gem-set stickpins. Lengths 5 to 8.5cms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Scratches and areas of discolouration visible to most. Typical inclusions to the gemstones, some visible with the unaided eye. Near surface reaching fracture to the citrine possibly effecting the durability. The turquoise to the sphere vary in colour, some more blue and others more green. Blisters and blemishes visible to the split pearls. Some of the pins are bent.
