A selection of garnet jewellery and an early Edwardian 9ct gold paste ring. The marquise-shape blue and colourless paste cluster ring with openwork shoulders, together with a 9ct gold garnet pendant and a pair of 9ct gold garnet single-stone ear studs. (5) Three with marks for 9ct gold. Length of pendant 41cms. Total weight 11.5gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Lot also includes a garnet brooch and ring. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Paste ring with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903. Ring sizes O and N.
