BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire, diamond, ruby and cultured pearl necklace. The front designed as an oval sapphire cabochon, within a pave-set diamond surround, to the brilliant-cut diamond and ruby cabochon accents and cultured pearl single-row necklace. Estimated total diamond weight 3cts. Length 39cms. Weight 53.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Cultured pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, to include pits. Minor nacre damage to some. Good lustre. Cultured pearls fairly well matched. Sapphire and rubies have light surface scratches and nibbles. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Stamped K18.
