A sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with old-cut diamond sides, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct, I-J colour, SI1-P2 clarity. Weight 1.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band thin at back, may benefit from a replacement shank. Diamonds fairly bright. One diamond has surface reaching inclusions, which may affect the future durability of the stone. Sapphire medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some of which are surface reaching and may affect the future durability of the stone.
