BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with circular-cut diamond sides, to the grooved shoulders and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct, J-K colour, P1-P2 clarity. Weight 6.8gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Band slightly out of shape. Band shows evidence of a resize. The sapphire is a dark blue hue, well saturated, with light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. The diamonds are drawing a slight yellow hue, with small central inclusions, some visible without magnification. One diamond has a significant chip to the side. Ring size K1/2.
