BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, to the baguette-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Approximate sapphire dimensions 10.6 by 8.2 by 5.5mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Ring size L. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The sapphire is a medium purplish-blue hue, moderately saturated, with typical colour zoning, light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. French assay marks to the outside of the band.
