A sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The circular-shape sapphire, with triangular-shape rose-cut diamond sides, to the plain band. Accompanied by report number 5775-2611, dated the 27th July 2015, from Gemmological Certification Services, stating the sapphire is approximately 0.80ct, with gemmological characteristics consistent with sapphires originating from Basaltic deposit, no indications of heat treatment. Weight 2.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Rose-cut diamond has a metal backing. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire medium purplish-blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions to facet edges. Ring size L 1/2.
