A sapphire and diamond ring. The oval-shape sapphire, to the rectangular-shape diamond shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Weight 11.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Approximate sapphire dimensions 12.7 by 10.1 by 6.8mms. Sapphire light purplish blue, fairly weak saturation of colour, with fair clarity and typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Stone in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. There are some surface reaching inclusions which appear as chips. Ring size P.
