BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond necklace. The graduated oval-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond cluster drops, suspended from marquise-shape diamonds, with brilliant and tapered baguette-cut diamond swags, to the brilliant-cut diamond border and brick-link back-chain. Estimated total diamond weight 16-17cts, H-I colour, VS-SI1 clarity. Italian marks. Length 42.5cms. Weight 79gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting. Principal marquise-shape diamond more tinted in colour than the other diamonds. Sapphires medium dark blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Stamped 750. With safety clasp. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
