BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The graduated circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond alternating line, to the openwork gallery and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Ring size S. Weight 3.8gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Band slightly out of shape. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Sapphires medium to dark blue, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Sapphires show straight colour zoning that can be seen very easily under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions, sapphires in fair condition with more significant abrasion and minor nibbles. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
